Residents in Prescott can now easily access the Annual Drinking Water Quality Report for 2023, as the document has been made publicly available online. The report is compiled by the City of Prescott Water Operations Division and can be viewed on the city’s website. It provides an in-depth look at the water quality, including sources, contents, and testing results of the municipal drinking supply over the last year.
According to the report, Prescott's water supply met all of the federal and state health standards set to ensure safe drinking water. Strict regulations and consistent monitoring are designed to maintain water safety, and the City has successfully adhered to these measures. To quickly access the digital report, residents can go to www.prescott-az.gov/link/ccr-ry2023.pdf.
While the hub of this annual publication lives online, the City acknowledges that not everyone may have the ability to conveniently retrieve it electronically. Consequently, starting July 1, 2023, a limited number of hard copies will become available. These can be picked up at specific physical locations including the Prescott Public Library and City Hall. The distribution facilitates reaching a broader audience, including those less inclined to engage with digital resources.
For residents preferring a physical copy but are unable to visit the said locations, the City of Prescott Water Operations also kindly offers to mail the report upon request. Interested parties simply need to reach out to them directly at (928) 777-1118 or shoot an email to [email protected] and a copy will be sent their way. The initiative to provide both digital and printed options aims to ensure that all residents have the opportunity to fully understand their water's quality and stay duly informed.
