The search for answers in the case of Kyron Horman, who went missing from Skyline Elementary School in Portland, Oregon, twelve years ago, is ongoing, with the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office recently updating their efforts to include a new webpage dedicated to the case, an innovation aimed at encouraging public participation through tips. Kyron, only seven years of age at the time of his disappearance, was last seen on June 4, 2010, during a morning science fair at his school. He was described as having brown hair, blue eyes, and sporting glasses over a distinctive V-shaped strawberry birthmark on his forehead.
On that day, the boy wore a black t-shirt marked with "CSI" in green letters, paired with a handprint graphic, black cargo pants, white socks, and black Sketchers sneakers with orange trim completed his ensemble, and he may have had his glasses, the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office reports. Despite the passage of time, Sheriff Nicole Morrisey O’Donnell remarked on the lasting emotional toll of Kyron's case, stating, "Kyron's disappearance continues to have a profound impact on his family and our community." She confirms, "Our detectives continue to work closely with our Major Crimes Team partners, the Multnomah County District Attorney's Office and the FBI, to pursue all legitimate investigative leads and will continue to do so until Kyron is located."
