The City of Roswell has garnered nominations for three of its well-attended and well-regarded community events and institutions. As reported by Roswell's official government website, Alive in Roswell is in the running for Best Community Event, Art Center West has been nominated in the Best Art Lessons/Studio category, and the Roswell Cultural Arts Center is a contender for Best Performing Arts/Theatre in Appen Media's annual Best of North Atlanta 2024.
Roswell's Mayor, Kurt Wilson, expressed his excitement about the nominations, "We are excited that Alive in Roswell, Art Center West, and Roswell Cultural Arts Center have been recognized as contenders for Best of North Atlanta," he said, according to a statement on the city's website. The mayor accentuated the nominations as a "true testament to the spirit of our community, bringing people together to celebrate all that makes Roswell special," and he encouraged the public to partake in the voting process.
The Best of North Atlanta celebration, spearheaded by Appen Media Group, acknowledges exceptional businesses, events, and organizations throughout the North Atlanta area. What sets these awards apart is the fact that they are determined by votes from the community, which allows residents to engage actively and support their local favorites.
Supporters are encouraged to cast their votes on the Best of North Atlanta's official website between July 15 and August 15, a month-long window for residents to show their support. The winners, which are decided by the community's voice, will be announced in September. The City of Roswell has extended gratitude towards its residents and intends to carry on with its mission of offering enriching, communal programming and events.
