Sandy Springs is gearing up for its annual dose of patriotic pyrotechnics with the Stars & Stripes Fireworks Celebration. This year’s event, the city promises, will be a shining display of community and celebration, taking place at City Springs on Thursday, July 4. According to the official announcement, festivities are set to begin sharply at 4 p.m.
In what has become a beloved tradition for Sandy Springs residents, the night will feature live performances, starting with the A-Town A-List band scheduled to quickly start things off at 7:30 p.m. As the evening approaches its climax, a firework extravaganza will be launched at 9:30 p.m., adding bursts of colors to the night sky. Attendees looking to satisfy their hunger can turn to an assortment of food trucks starting their service at 6 p.m. or pack their own picnic to enjoy during the event.
While personal tents and sparklers are a no-go—safety first, people—the city has made sure there are plenty of spots to take in the show.
