According to ABC 15, these developments heralded by Palmer Development Group are being brought to market with the newly formed brokerage team under Marti Weinstein, a partner at Diversified Partners. This alignment of power players in the Arizona development scene aims to capitalize on Scottsdale's bustling economy and growing demand for vibrant living and entertainment spaces.
Under the partnership of Diversified Partners and Palmer Development Group, The Edge has already initiated its presence with an array of dining options such as Shake Shack and Café Rio. In a statement obtained by KTAR, CEO of Diversified Partners, Walt Brown Jr., expressed enthusiasm about jointly creating "premier entertainment destinations" that would not solely tightly integrate, but also invigorate the local landscape with new retail destinations, aiming to address the consumer shift towards experience-rich ventures.
The Sydney, located strategically just steps away from The Edge, promises an even broader entertainment experience. The project will include the first Hard Rock hotel in Arizona, Reverb by Hard Rock Scottsdale, as part of its 26-acre layout. With the $80 million development breaking ground in April 2023, as reported by KTAR, anticipations are set for the hotel's grand opening in 2026. These new retail and leisure outlets are expected to offer unique experiences that are geared particularly towards the millennial demographic, a group perceived by developers as less engaged with traditional retail environments in locales such as Old Town and Kierland.
Further strengthening this business collaboration, Marti Weinstein, who has transitioned to a partnership role at Diversified Partners, brings a track record of success from prior joint ventures, including The Block at Pima Center. As Daniel Lupien, managing principal and founder of Palmer, told ABC 15, "Marti is one of the most talented brokers I've ever had the privilege of working with."
