The search is on for a Chicago woman, Taylor Casey, 41, who was reported missing during her trip to The Bahamas. According to NBC Chicago, Casey was last seen on June 19 near Nassau's Paradise Island, her disappearance has prompted efforts both online and on the ground to locate her.
Casey, described in a flier posted by the Royal Bahamas Police Force, attended a yoga retreat before she went missing, as per CBS News.
The "Find Taylor Casey" Facebook group was launched on Sunday to "help spread the word far and wide to bring our beloved Taylor home," as family members, including a grandmother, are preparing to go to The Bahamas on Tuesday to aid in the search efforts, her niece told NBC Chicago.
Amidst these worrisome events, the travel advisory for The Bahamas issued by the U.S. remains at a "Level 2", indicating travelers should "exercise increased caution in The Bahamas due to crime."
