The Metro Nashville Police Department has activated a Silver Alert for an elderly Nashville resident, Robert Weissman, who has been unaccounted for nearly a month. Last seen on May 29, Weissman was reportedly driving his gray 2021 Chevrolet Trax, identified by TN license plate BLH4091, on Sadler Avenue, as reported by WKRN.
Weissman, who is 80 years old, 5'7", and weighs 140 pounds with gray hair and hazel eyes, has a diagnosis that impairs his cognitive function. This medical condition might impede his capability to safely navigate back to his residence without help. Recognizing the urgency, Metro Police are continuously working closely with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation to precisely and quickly locate Weissman.
Further information obtained by FOX17 clarifies that Weissman was last spotted on Lyncrest Drive. Police departments and community members have been on the lookout, coordinating efforts to ensure any sighting or information that could be crucial in his recovery is quickly relayed and acted upon.
The authorities urge anyone who might have seen Weissman or has any relevant information to immediately contact the MNPD at 615-862-8600 or the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation at 1-800-TBI-FIND. With each passing day, the need to bring Weissman back to his family intensifies; thus the community's vigilance could make a significant difference. "Anyone who sees him is asked to call," highlights WSMV, acknowledging the role of public participation in matters of the welfare of its members.
