A hit-and-run in Frayser has left one woman dead and another critically injured after an early-morning tragedy unfolded at an intersection in Memphis. Memphis police were dispatched to the corner of Overton Crossing Street and Burnham Avenue at approximately 7:46 a.m. Friday, according to Action News 5. Officers arrived to find two women with life-threatening injuries, both of whom were swiftly transported to Regional One Hospital.
The impact was fatal for one of the victims, who was later pronounced dead at the hospital, while her companion remains in a battle for survival in critical condition.
