
Worcester Police Department's Vice Squad made a significant discovery after executing a search warrant at an Arlington St apartment early yesterday morning. According to an official press release from the Worcester PD, officers detained 43-year-old Hector Figueroa and a female associate as they were exiting the residence just before 9 AM, at which time they found multiple bags of a substance believed to be crack cocaine on Mr. Figueroa.
The search of the apartment unearthed more than just illicit substances. Alongside additional bags resembling crack cocaine, officers reported the presence of drug paraphernalia and several women, each with active arrest warrants. The police action has resulted in multiple charges, Mr. Figueroa now faces charges of Possession of Class B with Intent to Distribute, and a warrant, while 36-year-old Fauve Wiggins from Ericsson St was charged with an arrest warrant for Possession of a Class B Substance with Intent to Distribute.
Sonia Bracero, thirty-nine, and Linnette Padilla, thirty-six, were arrested on outstanding warrants. Details about their warrants were not disclosed in the immediate reports. Meanwhile, the individuals apprehended during the recent sweep are expected to face the legal consequences of their actions.
