A three-year-old child in East Nashville is fighting for life after an accidental shooting Wednesday evening. According to WSMV, Metro Nashville Police responded to an incident at Oakwood Flats, 2071 Oakwood Ave., just before 9 p.m., where the toddler was found with a gunshot wound. Neighbors had reported hearing gunshots before the arrival of law enforcement officials. The child was immediately rushed to Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt in critical condition.
