The Bloomington City Council is gearing up for a public hearing to mull over a proposed ordinance that could lead to the vacation of public utility easements at a local address. Slated for July 22, at 6:30 p.m., community voices have the chance to participate and express their opinions on the matter concerning 9030 Park Avenue S, as reported by the City of Bloomington. The hearing will be held in the Council Chambers at Bloomington Civic Plaza, or citizens can opt for electronic attendance as per the flexibility provided by State law.
Members of the public interested in attending the hearing have a variety of means to tune in. They can show up in person at the Civic Plaza, catch the broadcast on BTV via Comcast channels 859 or 14, or view the live stream online on the city's official web portals. As the city opens the floor to public testimony, those unable to be present may speak by phone during the hearing. Dial the number 1-415-655-0001, input the access code and password as listed on the city's announcement, and then press *3 to signal the intention to speak, as per the City of Bloomington. Upon their turn, speakers will be identified by their phone number and will be prompted to share their thoughts.
