According to the BPD's community alert, the event took place on June 27, 2024, around 4:30 PM near 460 Blue Hill Avenue. The suspect is described as a black female in her 50's, seen wearing a purple button-down shirt, blue jeans, and a tan hat.
In the dynamic landscape of urban crime, this suspect stands out not only for the act of shoplifting but also for reportedly pointing a taser at security officers during the incident. The woman is also recognized as a frequent offender at this particular location. Witnesses last saw her driving away in a 2010 Yellow Chevy Malibu with noticeable passenger side damage, Massachusetts registration 2HRT52, heading towards Warren Street. The BPD needs the public's eagle eyes to permanently help bring this repeat larceny offender to justice.
