The brewpub, a local staple since its inception, has been operating amidst its most lucrative year to date. FOX5 Vegas reports that owner Todd Cook received a 90-day notice to vacate the property as the current landlords are looking to sell at a price "more than they can afford."

With no agreement reached after months of negotiation, Cook and the patrons of Boulder Dam Brewing will say goodbye to the establishment that has been a beloved part of the Boulder City community. Despite being at the peak of its success this year, Cook faced the tough decision to lay off his entire staff of 20 due to the impending closure. However, he has promised those same employees will be top of mind for rehire if a new location is secured. In a statement obtained by Boulder Dam Brewing Co.’s Facebook page, the company announced, “We close our doors midway through our busiest year yet.”

For those looking to savor one last pint of Boulder Dam's offerings, the brewery will remain open for drinks over the following weeks. As a farewell gesture, the community is invited to “stop by, hoist a pint, and celebrate the last 17 years," Boulder Dam Brewing Company expressed on their social media post. Cook has initiated a GoFundMe campaign aimed at financing the relocation of Boulder Dam Brewing, in hopes of keeping the business alive and continuing to serve its loyal customers.
