
A serious hit-and-run incident has left a local Chicago man severely injured, and authorities are now seeking the public's assistance in tracking down the vehicle and its driver involved in the unfortunate event. Chicago Police Department reports that on July 29, 2024, at approximately 3:43 pm, a 36-year-old man was crossing the street in the 2800 block of E. 95th Street when he was hit by an unidentified vehicle.
According to descriptions provided by the police, the vehicle in question is believed to be a silver Volvo, potentially a model from the year 2009, with noticeable damage to the windshield and the right headlight. After the incident, the vehicle was spotted heading eastbound on 95th Street, making its escape route from the scene through Escanaba Avenue. Witnesses at the scene rushed to help the man and were able to provide a partial description of the fleeing vehicle.
