They found 28-year-old Ariel Wesley with gunshot wounds in an apartment located at the 11700 block of Audelia Road.
Dallas Fire Rescue arrived on the scene, but despite their efforts, Wesley succumbed to the injuries and was pronounced dead at the location. The investigation, which moved swiftly, led to the arrest of 21-year-old Amori Jones, who has been charged with murder.
