A somber scene unfolded on Hollis Avenue in Dallas as Dallas Police responded to what would be charted as another tragic incident in the city's ongoing confrontation with violent crime. 36-year-old Noe Martinez Perez was found mortally wounded from gunshots just outside the threshold of a residence, according to a report from the Dallas Police Department.
The call that drew law enforcement to the 6300 block of Hollis Avenue last Saturday, around 9:40 p.m., ended in tragedy. Despite the swift arrival of Dallas Fire and Rescue, Perez's life could not be saved, marking another somber chapter in the city's ongoing narrative of violence. Detectives are urging anyone with information that could lead to justice for Perez to come forward. The investigation remains active under case number 107738-2024.
