The Dallas Police Department is currently investigating a homicide following a fatal shooting on Plano Road. According to the Dallas Police Department, the incident occurred in the early hours of yesterday. Police responded around 2:45 a.m. to the 11500 block of Plano Road, where they discovered a woman who had been shot in a parking lot.
Tragically, the woman's injuries proved fatal and she was pronounced dead at the scene by Dallas Fire Rescue. The victim has not been identified and the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office is working to determine her identity. At this stage, there is no information available on a potential suspect or the circumstances leading up to the shooting.
