On July 11 in Colma, local police responded to a business on the 200 block of Colma Boulevard after the General Manager reported embezzlement by an employee. The employee, Alberto Alvarezleon of Daly City, allegedly committed fraudulent returns and theft totaling $6,641.49 over two weeks.
According to the Colma Police Department, Police arrived at 2:21 pm and arrested the 22-year-old without resistance.
After his arrest, Alvarezleon was booked into the San Mateo County Jail, facing embezzlement charges.
