The Dracut Police Department (DPD) broadcasted an urgent message, cautioning people to steer clear of Parker Ave at Beaver Brook Bridge. It was there that a man, whose day by the water was disrupted by his own surprising catch: a device, believed to be a smoke grenade, came into play.
In an abundance of caution, the DPD took the stance of vigilance and advised against any pedestrian and vehicular traffic near the vicinity of the incident.
