
A grim discovery was made in Santee when deputies from the Santee Sheriff's Station responded to a report of two deceased individuals at a home on the 300 block of Lantern Way. Upon arrival at approximately 11:05 A.M. yesterday, officials found an elderly man and woman, both with signs of head trauma, dead inside the residence. According to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department report, the identities of the victims are being withheld until family members can be notified.
The Sheriff’s Homicide investigators have taken the lead on the case, seeking to piece together the events that led to this tragic outcome. Currently, investigators report there are no outstanding suspects, and they believe there is no ongoing threat to the community. However, the cause of death and the motives behind these deaths remain under tight scrutiny.
