According to CBS News, the fire left the two residences uninhabitable, resulting in four tenants from one home and 10 from the other seeking assistance from the Red Cross, which arrived to support those who had lost their homes. The cause of the fire is currently being scrutinized. However, no details were forthcoming at the time of the report.
Investigative efforts into the cause of the fire are ongoing. In the meantime, the narrative of the displaced individuals takes a backseat to the immediate necessity of shelter, food, and clothing.
