Perez gained recognition for her work at Visit Mesa as the Sales and Services Coordinator, where, among other things, she managed to drive tourism by hosting high-profile events such as the Savannah Bananas' Banana Ball World Tour.
With an ambition to channel her background in tourism and collaboration into economic prosperity for Fountain Hills, Perez stated, "I am thrilled to bring my tourism knowledge and passion for community impact to Fountain Hills," a statement obtained by the official Town of Fountain Hills. The role, which Perez stepped into on July 15, will see her developing strategic initiatives that aim to attract new business while revamping downtown areas and nurturing strong local partnerships. An alumna of Arizona State University, she comes equipped with a bachelor's degree in design studies management and boasts a history as a collegiate soccer player.
Adding to her commitments, Perez is embracing further professional development by recently joining the Arizona Association for Economic Development. This move underlines her commitment to nurturing her skills, which will be critical as she formulates new economic opportunities for Fountain Hill.
