Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) officers responded to a deadly shooting early Monday morning on the city's near southeast side, where they discovered a man shot dead inside a vehicle. As reported by WTHR, the incident took place in the 2600 block of East Minnesota Street, near South Keystone Avenue, and the report of a person shot was received at around 5 a.m.

Upon arrival at the residential area, IMPD officers found the man with a gunshot wound inside a car he was pronounced dead on the scene, the circumstances leading to the shooting are under investigation and no details regarding potential suspects have been released, according to another source.
