Murfreesboro Police Department is actively pursuing a male suspect linked to a disturbing invasion of privacy at a local second-hand clothing store. According to WSMV, the incident occurred at Plato's Closet on N. Thompson Lane in late June, where a woman accused the unidentified man of recording her while she was in one of the store's changing rooms.
Investigations began after the woman, while in the changing room on June 24, noticed a cell phone extending from beneath the stall divider, evidently aiming to capture inappropriate footage. The man had allegedly entered the stall adjacent to the victim and devised a way to film her without permission or knowledge. Furthering this, the Murfreesboro Police have released a call for information on the person of interest. In an alert detailed by Rutherford Source, they have urged anyone with insights into the suspect's identity to come forward.
The police have refrained from publicly identifying the suspect, who remains at large, while their efforts to improve the safety of public facilities continue.
