Mansfield police are on the lookout for a package thief and they're reaching out to the community for assistance. According to the Mansfield Police Department, a suspect was caught on camera snatching a parcel from the front doorstep of a residence on the 900 block of Hilton Dr. earlier in the month.
Detectives have shared images of the suspect and the vehicle believed to be involved, urging anyone with pertinent information to step forward. Walking the fine line between vigilance and privacy, residents are often asked to play a role in keeping their neighborhoods safe. While the theft took place earlier this month, the police are hopeful that the community’s input will shed light on the case.
