The Metro Nashville Police Department sighed in collective relief as 70-year-old Carolyn Breeding, previously reported missing, was located safe last night on the intersection of 19th Avenue North and Charlotte Avenue, bringing an end to the Silver Alert issued earlier in the day. WKRN reported that the police had asked for the community's assistance after Breeding disappeared and was last seen around 3 p.m. on 20th Avenue North, garbed in a dark outfit adorned with several necklaces.
Before she was found, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation circulated details about her disappearance, mentioning that Breeding was last seen on State Street between 19th Avenue and 20th Avenue, they also highlighted her medical condition which may impair her ability to return home without assistance. According to FOX17, concerns were heightened due to her medical condition, prompting law enforcement and the community to be on high alert.
The successful resolution of Breeding's situation was tersely announced by the Metro Nashville Police Department via their official social media, stating: "Ms. Breeding was just found safe and unharmed on 19th Ave N & Charlotte Ave." as reported by the Metro Nashville Police Department. This brief update conveyed both the conclusion of the fraught search and the commencement of familial and communal exhales.
