The situation unfolded when on Saturday, the 13th of July at about 12:58 p.m., an individual had left their dog and purse inside their car, parked in the 1900 block of M Street, Southeast, according to a statement from the MPD. Upon returning to the location, the owner discovered that both their canine companion and the purse, which presumably held valuables and personal items, had vanished.
The police have provided no additional details regarding the circumstances of how Theo was found or information about the owner's emotional state during the ordeal. The focus of the authorities is now on locating the individual and vehicle involved. Photographs or descriptions of the suspect or vehicle have not been released at this stage of the investigation.
