A spate of armed robberies committed by a group of juveniles has unsettled the North Nashville community this past weekend, with the Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) now spearheading a search for the young culprits and urging public involvement. The assailants, reportedly ranging from 10 to 14 years in age, are connected to a series of incidents where they allegedly wielded firearms to extract personal items from several victims, as reported by WSMV.

To apprehend the suspects, MNPD released photographs of the juveniles taken during the supposed criminal episodes the images released to the public reveal at least two minors brandishing what seem to be guns, and their involvement is spread across 17th Avenue North, Clinton Avenue, Jo Johnston Avenue, and Pearl Street, with residents feeling increasingly desperate as the calm of their neighborhood is pierced by the echo of threats and the steel of gun barrels.

According to a WSMV report, one of the victims, Whitney Frazier, recounted a chilling encounter: "I went up to them, asked them what was going on and that’s when they pulled a gun on me." Frazier also highlighted the terror that lingered beyond the initial confrontation, as she alleged the same group later attempted to rob her son.

As per FOX 17, MNPD pleaded for help to identify the group of juveniles believed to be involved in at least four robberies this past weekend in North Nashville, victims of the aforementioned crimes were approached and coerced into surrendering their possessions, they were faced with the barrel of a gun and the starkness of youth gone astray and MNPD has provided a hotline number, asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463.
