A somber air settles with word of a distressing incident involving a young child and a backyard swimming pool in Phoenix. According to FOX 10 Phoenix, a toddler was found unresponsive in a pool on Thursday night and is now in extremely critical condition. The incident was reported near 51st Avenue, and Baseline Road during the evening of July 4.
First responders arrived at a chilling scene as family members desperately administered CPR to the child. "When firefighters arrived on scene, family members were performing CPR on the child. Members of the community assistance program are providing the family with any needs at this time," said Phoenix Fire Capt. Rob McDade in a statement obtained by FOX 10 Phoenix.
Details concerning the incident are expected to be updated as the investigation unfolds, as per 12 News.
