In recent law enforcement efforts in Pinole, a vehicle stop led to the arrest of three individuals on multiple charges. According to the Pinole Police Department, officers working the stolen vehicle suppression task force conducted a stop yesterday after observing several traffic violations by a car exiting a grocery store shopping center.
Upon inspection, the driver was found to have an outstanding warrant while a passenger was on probation. In addition to these legal violations, officers discovered a cache of alcohol in the vehicle. This haul had been reportedly pilfered from local grocery stores earlier in the day. The suspects were subsequently arrested and booked on charges that included possession of stolen property and conspiracy, among others.
All of the recovered alcohol was returned to the victimized merchants. The incident was resolved with the suspects being booked into jail and awaiting due process on the violations, including the warrants and probation infringement.
