Last Saturday, a seemingly abandoned vehicle in a Pleasanton shopping center sparked a police investigation that led to the arrest of three women. According to the Pleasanton Police Department, the car was wanted in connection with a grand theft incident.
While patrolling the area, the officers noticed individuals hastily loading the vehicle with shopping bags. When they approached to investigate, the suspects tried to flee the scene. Despite their efforts, three of the four women involved were detained. The car later confirmed to be stolen, contained more than $5,800 worth of merchandise from Lululemon.
Upon recovering the stolen goods, the women were arrested and dispatched to Santa Rita Jail. Their names have not yet been released pending investigation.
