Police have taken a man into custody in connection with the death of his girlfriend in Roswell. The victim has been identified as 27-year-old Andreily Acacio Rodriguez, who was found with injuries suggesting a domestic-related homicide, as first reported by FOX 5 Atlanta.
In a swift response to the tragic finding, Roswell Police Department arrested 32-year-old Juan Inga-Bruno. He is now charged with malice murder and possession of a knife during the commission of a felony. They managed to quickly locate and arrest Inga-Bruno by road less than two hours after the initial call to police. The arrest followed an emergency call to an apartment on Belmont Drive earlier that Friday morning, where Rodriguez's body was discovered.
According to information obtained by Atlanta News First, the call to the police was made around 8:30 a.m., after a family member reported finding Rodriguez dead at Champions Green Apartments. Inga-Bruno was subsequently arrested during what was described as a traffic stop.
