On the night of April 30, officers were dispatched to South Bernardo Avenue after reports of gunshots at approximately 12:07 a.m., where they discovered an adult male with gunshot wounds seated inside a vehicle.
The victim, despite the efforts of first responders who provided immediate medical aid, was later announced dead at a local hospital. Sunnyvale DPS has made a concerted effort to apprehend those involved, resulting in the recent arrest of a fourth juvenile male in San Diego who is now detained at Santa Clara County Juvenile Hall, according to Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety.
