Tragedy struck on a Memphis highway late Sunday night when a multi-vehicle collision resulted in the death of a teenager and injuries to five others. The incident, which unfolded at approximately 11:17 p.m. on Highway 385 westbound near Ridgeway Road, involved three cars and prompted a response from Memphis Police. According to WREG, a 17-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.
The chain-reaction crash began when a Kia Forte reportedly struck a Chevrolet Camaro, causing the latter to spin out. Subsequently, the Kia Forte flipped, impacting a Nissan Altima and a concrete median. Among the survivors, officials indicate that two adults are receiving care in critical condition, while another three individuals – including a 17-year-old and two adults – are being treated for non-critical injuries.
