The first of these incidents, involving the youngest victim, occurred in the early hours of Saturday on the 5100 block of South Calumet Avenue in the Washington Park neighborhood. According to CBS News Chicago, the boy was on the sidewalk when he was shot in the left leg and subsequently transported to Comer Children's Hospital in good condition. As investigations unfold, authorities have not yet taken any suspects into custody.

In another distressing event reported by The Chicago Tribune, a 14-year-old boy sustained a gunshot wound to the abdomen roughly an hour before midnight Friday. The shooting happened while he was walking through an alley in the 800 block of East 65th Street in the Woodlawn neighborhood. Police stated that the assailant fired from inside a black Jeep, critically injuring the teenager who was also taken to Comer Children's Hospital.

The third shooting involved a 17-year-old boy who was shot in the left leg while standing on a sidewalk. This incident took place in the Lower West Side neighborhood's 1500 block of West 18th Street. He managed to quickly find transportation to Stroger Hospital via a friend's vehicle and is reported to be in good condition.
