
Early morning violence erupted outside a Knoxville bar resulting in two fatalities and one injury, the Knoxville Police Department confirmed. The incident took place around 2:45 a.m. Tuesday at The Pint House located at 815 Merchant Drive. Upon arriving at the scene after a shooting was reported, law enforcement discovered three gunshot victims. One man was declared deceased at the location, while the other was transported and later succumbed to his injuries at the University of Tennessee Medical Center, as reported by WBIR.
An adult woman, caught in the incident, sustained minor injuries from a grazing wound but was fortunate not to require hospitalization. At this time, authorities have not detained a suspect and the individual believed to be responsible for the shooting had left the scene before police presence, according to WVLT. The Knoxville Police Department is actively seeking this suspect and the investigation into the motive is ongoing.
Detectives are currently in the process of collecting evidence and witness statements to shed light on the tragic events.
