Tragedy struck in the Roseland neighborhood of Chicago's Far South Side early Wednesday morning as gunfire erupted, leaving two men dead.
According to the Chicago Sun-Times, a 59-year-old tow truck driver and a 45-year-old man were discovered by the Chicago police, both with fatal gunshot wounds. The violent exchange unfolded around 2:30 a.m. in the 11300 block of South Lowe Avenue.
Responding officers found the truck driver with a gunshot wound to his head, deceased at the scene, as per CBS News. The other man sustained multiple gunshot injuries to his body and was rushed to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he succumbed to his injuries.
