Two men are now in the hospital with life-threatening injuries following a double shooting that occurred on Sunday night in Glendale. FOX 10 Phoenix reported the incident happened just shortly after 9 p.m. near the crossroads of 47th and Glendale Avenues.
While details remain scarce, the Glendale Police Department has confirmed that officers arrived to quickly find two men suffering from gunshot wounds. Authorities are yet to release what may have led to quickly escalate into violence. 12News notes that the area of 48th and Mediterranean Drive, just north of the initial intersection cited, was also part of the crime scene.
The victims were transported to a local hospital following the shooting; however, names and ages have not been disclosed to the public at this time. "Our officers responded and began providing life-saving measures on two adult male victims with gunshot wounds," a Glenda Police representative told 12News.
