Carroll County is calling on its residents to participate in a brief survey to gather insights on the community's recycling habits. The Solid Waste Department of Carroll County has released an online questionnaire to understand better how local citizens utilize the recycling centers across the various Convenience Centers in the region. According to a posting on the county's website, the survey is designed to take roughly one minute to complete and offers participants a chance to win a small incentive.
In an interesting twist, those who provide their feedback might win more than just good karma for helping out the environment. Promising to take care for roughly a couple of gallons of gas, Carroll County is enticing survey participants with a drawing for a $10 gas card. All respondents who complete the survey by the set deadline will be automatically entered into this drawing, which is scheduled to occur in the first week of September. Trying to make civic engagement a bit more appealing, perhaps the chance of winning free fuel might just be the nudge some need to contribute their thoughts on recycling.
Interested residents can access the survey by scanning a QR Code provided by the county or through the direct link to the survey. And while reducing one's carbon footprint often feels like its own reward, a shot at a free gas card might just sweeten the deal. Hopefully, engaging more participants, the little incentive might just add that extra push for those on the fence about taking part.
