While seven adults managed to evacuate the building unharmed, the victim was rushed to Stroger Hospital where she succumbed to her injuries. The Cook County Medical Examiner's office has yet to release her identity. Meanwhile, the cause of the fire is currently the subject of an investigation, and no other injuries have been reported as a result of the fire.
