
A 13-year-old male juvenile is facing serious charges after being implicated in an armed robbery in Chicago. The incident, promptly addressed by the Chicago Police Department, resulted in the young individual's arrest on the evening of August 15. According to details released by the Chicago Police Department's official website, the juvenile was allegedly armed with a firearm when he forcibly took property from a 25-year-old man on the 5200 block of W. Fullerton Ave.
Following the identification by law enforcement, the juvenile was taken into custody near the 6000 block of W. Grand Ave. The charges against him include one felony count of robbery armed with a firearm and another felony count of AGG UUW/Person/DELINQ Minor, as reported by the CPD.
He is to swiftly appear at a juvenile detention hearing scheduled at the juvenile court located at 1100 S. Hamilton on August 16, the police statement explained.
