
A 74-year-old Kissimmee woman has died following a collision with a tree in a single-car crash in Osceola County, reported the Florida Highway Patrol. The incident, which occurred around 5 p.m. on Thursday, took place on Marigold Avenue near Stepping Stone Boulevard, according to ClickOrlando.
The driver was operating a 2011 Nissan Xterra heading south when she ran off the road into a tree, the cause for which remains unclear FHP has yet to determine why the vehicle left the roadway and troopers are still investigating the exact circumstances leading up to the tragic event, as detailed by Around Osceola.
The victim, whose name has not been released, was found by responders to not have been wearing a seatbelt and was subsequently pronounced dead at the scene, a crash report detailed by the FHP stated.
