As Labor Day approaches, Apache Junction residents can expect some changes to the regular operating hours of city facilities. While the City Administrative Offices, Apache Junction Public Library, and the Animal Control Center will all be closed in observance of the holiday, there's still plenty of opportunity to enjoy public amenities on Monday, September 2nd.

The Superstition Shadows Aquatic Center will welcome swimmers from noon to 6 PM, offering a splash of fun for those looking to beat the heat. Likewise, the Multi-Generational Center is set to remain open, adjusting its schedule for the holiday from 7:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. While many of the city's services take a pause, the Police Department reminds the public that emergency services will never skip a beat, operating as usual to ensure the community's safety.

In a notice posted on the city's official website, the City of Apache Junction urged local citizens to stay safe and enjoy the holiday, giving a nod to all the hardworking members of the community.

The community can check the full listing of closures and service hours to plan their holiday accordingly.
