The suspect, identified as 18-year-old Jaylen Suggs from Northeast, D.C., was apprehended on August 14. The arrest came as a result of a D.C. Superior Court warrant. Suggs, who was a juvenile at the time of the offense, is being charged as an adult with First Degree Murder While Armed-Felony Murder.
