Gun violence has once again shaken the Atlanta community, as police officers rushed to the scene of a shooting in the southwest part of the city. The Atlanta Police Department reported that Zone 4 officers received a call about a person shot near 3200 Cushman Cir. SW yesterday evening.
When they arrived, officers found an adult male with a gunshot wound. The situation was serious, the victim was alert, conscious, and able to breathe. He was immediately taken to the hospital for medical attention. Despite his condition, the victim could not provide details on a suspect or explain the circumstances that led to his injury.
The Atlanta Police are now turning to the Aggravated Assault Unit to investigate this case further. Investigators arrived at the scene and began to work through the evidence, examining the evidence to piece together what occured yesterday evening. However, the shooting remains incomplete.
