According to the police press release, the collision, which occurred on the evening of Saturday, August 17, led to the tragic death of 29-year-old Kierra Goodridge. Detectives reported that the victim was struck by an unidentified SUV in the 9300 block of Liberty Rd at approximately 8:25 p.m. Despite the severity of the event, the vehicle involved failed to remain at the scene.
Following the crash, Goodridge was swiftly transported to a nearby hospital. Unfortunately, her injuries were too severe, and she was pronounced dead shortly after her arrival.
