
In a harrowing update to a case that has gripped the Northwest District community, the Baltimore Police Department has reported the arrest of two individuals in connection to the tragic death of 6-year-old Brian Graham. According to a post by the Baltimore Police, Jalesia Offer, the child's 34-year-old mother, along with her boyfriend, 34-year-old Brandon Wheatley, have been charged with first-degree child abuse resulting in death.

In regards to the death of 6-year-old Brian Graham that occurred in the Northwest District, investigators have arrested the child's mother, 34-year-old Jalesia Offer, and 34-year-old Brandon Wheatley, the mother's boyfriend.

The Medical Examiner's office ruled the cause of death as homicide by blunt force trauma on August 22. This ruling came one day after the child was found unresponsive in a home located on the 6300 block of Greenspring Avenue. The Baltimore City Medics provided immediate treatment to the child who was shortly transported to an area hospital, but he later died.
Offer and Wheatley were transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility. They were taken there for processing and intake procedures.
