Expanding its wings once more, Breeze Airways has announced additional flights from Florida's Vero Beach and West Palm Beach to the Northeast, introducing a new route to New Haven, Connecticut. This expansion comes close on the heels of their other Northeast services and aligns with the company's strategic growth in the region. According to a news release from TCPalm, travelers hailing from Vero Beach can catch a Breeze flight to New Haven on Mondays and Fridays, beginning this December 13, while those departing from West Palm Beach can jet off to the same destination five times a week starting December 11, with one-way fares kicking off at $69.
West Palm Beach's Palm Beach International Airport will offer this service on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday, taking wing from December 11. In a further development, the carrier is slated to unfurl a new route from West Palm Beach to Norfolk, Virginia, come February 6, 2025 with fares starting at a modest $59, as reported by WPTV.
"Breeze has seen so much growth from West Palm and Vero Beach," Breeze Airways' Founder and CEO David Neeleman said in a statement obtained by TCPalm. "With the addition of New Haven, we’ll now offer six destinations each from PBI and VRB." These moves provides more options for Floridians to reach smaller, underserved airports in the Northeast, including the carrier's existing routes to Hartford, Islip, Newburgh, Providence, and White Plains depending on the season.
Breeze's fare structure aims to soothe the traveler's budget and cater to varying preferences, presenting a trifecta of options: the wallet-friendly "Nice" fare which, includes a standard seat and one personal item and allows for changes without penalty; the "Nicer" bundle that throws in added legroom, a carry-on, and one checked bag, gifting passengers with a little more breathing space, and finally the "Nicest" bundle, where travelers ascend to the summit of Breeze’s offerings with perks like a recliner-style seat and complimentary in-flight indulgence. "It’s nice to have added flexibility when you travel!" the airline promoted the benefits of its fare options, as reported by TCPalm.
