Morrison County residents have a packed week ahead, with back-to-back local government meetings lined up. The County Board of Commissioners has a series of sessions on the horizon, addressing issues ranging from planning to next-generation 911 services. Details about the week's schedule were released on the Morrison County government website, with meetings from August 4 through August 10.
On Tuesday at 8:30 am, members of the board will gather for a planning session in the County Board Room at the Government Center, located in Little Falls, MN. Following closely, the Bellevue Township Meeting is slated for 7:00 pm on August 7 at the Bellevue Townhall, inviting the community's participation. As the board navigates through these discussions, the public has been informed to call 320-632-0296 at least 48 hours in advance should they require any accommodations to participate in the meetings.
The subsequent days will see a shift towards virtual gatherings. A CM Next Gen 911 meeting is scheduled to take place online at 10:00 am on August 8, indicating a conversation about updating emergency services. That same day, the Trails meeting will commence at 6:30 pm in the City Hall of Little Falls, MN. As the RDFA Meeting will commence later that afternoon at Pine Country Bank for those with vested interests in regional development finance, the interest of local stakeholders is expected to be high in Little Falls that afternoon.
Further engaging with county-wide initiatives, commissioners will be attending a virtual CM RAC meeting on August 9 at 10:00 am. Wrapping up the week, the Lake Alexander LID Meeting is on the docket for 9:00 am on Saturday, August 10, which will be taking place at the Scandia Valley Townhall in Scandia Valley Township, MN. For constituents wishing to attend any of the public meetings, the notice reminds them of the accommodations request number provided by the county authorities.
