Mark your calendars, Chandler citizens; the city hall courtyard is soon to buzz with a patriotic hum as residents gather to commemorate a pivotal moment in American history. Chandler is set to celebrate Constitution Day on September 17, in honor of the signing of the U.S. Constitution, way back in 1787 by framers full of foresight in Philadelphia.
According to the City's official website, on Tuesday at 8:30 a.m., join us for a Constitution Day event filled with tradition and community pride. The program will include a Constitution Day Proclamation and talks from local speakers on the importance of the Constitution. To top off the celebration, enjoy Constitution-themed activities for all ages and refreshments.
The festivities will take place at Chandler City Hall Courtyard, 175 S. Arizona Ave. History enthusiasts and patriots won’t want to miss this celebration of democracy. Residents are encouraged to RSVP for Constitution Day with just a simple click.
